Foreign Trade forms the single largest economic activity of every nation – with this, the flight of men, materials and capital across the geographical boundaries has unprecedentedly accelerated.

Every nation envisages for more exports than imports so as to build-up a healthy FOREX reserve. That is why the first of the objective of our Foreign Trade Policy is to double our percentage share of global trade within a span of five years. This can be achieved only if our products and services are qualitatively competitive.

Increase of export and import activity would give rise to demand of competent personnel to shoulder the responsibilities. The aspiring youth, to take up this challenging field, may have to strengthen their knowledge base and skills in every aspect of Foreign Trade.

Institute of International Trade & Tax Studies (IITT), well conscious of the need of the time, has set out to impart expertise for those who aspire a career in Foreign Trade and other related areas. The courses now offered by this Institute are of prime importance when viewed in the historical and socio-economic perspectives. It will be the Institute’s endeavor to strive for excellence by tapping all the resource around and canalize the same to the aspirants.

I wish a successful career to one and all who graduate from this Institute.
